Inspired by the Magpie, the 'Gender Reveal Baby Shower' featured edgy black and white monochromatic styling whilst, maximizing the softness of feathers and hints of mint. The fact that, two magpies symbolize 'two equals joining in union' was such a beautiful foundation for the design and concept of the party.

The magpie herself is a varied creature. Her colourful character is a delight to observe with symbolic eyes because she is so unpredictable, high spirited and expressive.
Magpies have an obsession for shining things, hence our use of silver and mirrors. With striking colouration, the magpie is symbolic of flamboyance, expression and glamour. We feel we captured that with the use of florals, marble, monochrome tableware and stylish gloss furniture. Just as when we see her, we do a double take because her appearance commands our attention.
